You've got questions. We've got answers (well, some at least).
Q: When and where is the wedding?
A: Wait, really? You couldn't find that answer on here somewhere? Well, it's Saturday November 11th, 2017 at Citizens Bank Park, starting promptly at 4:00 pm. More info on the venue can be found by clicking here.
Q: Where should we park?
A: Parking information can be found by clicking here too (there's even a map!). There is a Flyers game at the Wells Fargo Center on the same evening as our wedding, but the parking lot provided by the stadium will be open and staffed to allow you to park for our wedding for free. If you're a "Nervous Nelly" about city parking, feel free to bring your invitation with you as proof, and the lot attendants will let you in! Don't be silly and park somewhere that you have to pay for...
Q: Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel?
A: NOPE. Sorry, but the hotel does not provide one. As the hotel is only about a mile from the stadium, we suggest that you either use one of those handy dandy new fangled phone applications (Uber, Lyft) to get a ride to/from the stadium, or call one of the fine Philadelphia-based cab companies for a ride. We'd really like for you to enjoy yourselves at our wedding, but also practice safe driving practices, so please don't drink and drive!!
Q: What is the dress code for the wedding?
A: Well, it is a wedding, so you should dress nice. The bride, groom, wedding party, and parents of the bride & groom will all be wearing dresses and suits, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say wearing a tshirt and flip flops would be a tad underdressed. And hey, we won't discourage any awesome Star Wars cosplay, but if that's not your "thing", don't feel obligated to do so. Make sure you're comfortable (and bring a pair of flats if you're going to do the heels thing to start...) and be ready to party afterwards!!
Q: Should we bring cash?
A: GASP -- such a faux pas thing to ask... just kidding!! We both understand the need to come prepared, so this is a perfectly fine question to ask!! While the drinks will be flowing from the open bar (yes, open bar -- be sure to shake the hand of the Father of the Bride for that one!), it doesn't hurt to bring some cash for tips to these very busy bartenders. And don't forget about the after party -- we plan on keeping the shenanigans going later into the evening across the street at Xfinity Live!!
Q: Who should we contact if we have any other questions prior to the day of the wedding?
A: Please don't feel shy to contact the bride herself with any questions, at least up until maybe like the day before.. you know, she might be a tad busy those days! The best way to contact the bride directly is by filling out the message section at the bottom of the home page here. But other good resources for information would be either the Mother of the Bride (Kathy Hunter) or one of the bridesmaids (Caitlin McTernan, Kym Weiler, Katie Dilks, Veronica Littlefield, Gina Calabrese, or Deedee O'Donnell)!!
